Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and manage all technical aspects of construction projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Construction Project Manager
- Assist in project accounting and the financial management of infrastructure budgets
- Oversee office administration related to project documentation, site diaries, and progress reports
- Conduct research and development within the Technology Transfer Centre to improve construction methodologies
- Ensure legal compliance with health and safety (OHS) and environmental regulations on-site
- Utilize computer-aided engineering and project management software for scheduling and analysis
- Participate in stakeholder engagement and networking to facilitate smooth project delivery across KZN districts
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management review
