- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and disciplinary management skills
- Proficiency in financial and budgetary oversight for nursing resources
- Advanced understanding of the National Nursing Strategy and Ideal Hospital framework
- Basic computer literacy and administrative competence in clinical reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience as a Professional Nurse
- At least 6 years experience in Advanced Psychiatric Nursing post-specialty qualification
- At least 3 years experience at management level
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and coordinate specialized holistic nursing care within the psychiatric unit in compliance with legal and professional frameworks
- Manage human and financial resources effectively to ensure optimal operational functioning and cost-effective service delivery
- Monitor and manage patient safety incidents and resolve clinical complaints to maintain high standards of psychiatric care
- Facilitate staff development through mentoring of Operational Managers and coordination of clinical training and research
- Ensure implementation of Regulated Norms, Standards, and SOPs including the Mental Health Care Act and Ideal Hospital framework
