Requirements
- Minimum 10 years nursing experience post-SANC registration
- At least 6 years experience in the specialty (ICU/Theatre) post-obtaining the specialty qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience at Management level
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and lead specialized nursing care across the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Operating Theatre, and CSSD
- Maintain stringent quality care standards and National Core Standards within specialized units
- Supervise staff to ensure cost-effective, efficient, and professional patient care
- Oversee the implementation of infection control and prevention protocols for all clinical and support staff
- Monitor clinical guidelines, protocols, and strategic plans to improve surgical and critical care delivery
- Manage human resources including disciplinary codes, grievance procedures, and performance evaluations
- Ensure data management accuracy and maintain professional ethics among multidisciplinary teams
- Facilitate the implementation of the Ideal Hospital Framework and Batho-Pele principles
