Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse
- At least 3 years of the required experience must be at management level (PN-A5) specifically in ACSM, TB, HIV/AIDS, or Strategic Health Programs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization (ACSM) comprehensive plan at provincial and district levels
- Manage financial allocations and procurement processes for ACSM promotional and IEC materials
- Coordinate high-profile public health campaigns including Imbizos, door-to-door visits, roadshows, and World TB/AIDS Day commemorations
- Strengthen health education activities during outbreak management and implement 'Back to Care' campaigns
- Ensure quality data management by monitoring DHIMS policy compliance and conducting facility support visits
- Develop clinic quality improvement programs, clinical guidelines, and performance indicators for ACSM
- Collate and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports for executive review
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain healthy working relationships with internal and external partners
- Advocate for patient rights and ensure the practical application of Batho Pele principles in clinical care environments.
