Minimum Qualification

  • Appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7).
  • Valid Driver's License.

Experience Required

8 Year in Community Development / Health Promotion

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years recognizable experience in a community development or health promotion environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate the identification, facilitation, and execution of integrated development interventions in collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Manage community development service delivery areas to ensure efficient utilization of human, financial, and physical resources
  • Lead and oversee research initiatives on community development including the facilitation of complex research projects
  • Formulate and implement policies to enhance community health promotion and development
  • Ensure the economical use of resources within assigned service delivery areas to meet provincial health targets
  • Monitor new industry developments and management trends to continuously improve service delivery standards
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to promote community-based health interventions.

Remunaration

R602361 per annum, plus 13th Cheque, Housing Allowance, Medical Aid (Optional, Employee must meet the prescribed requirements
