Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience
- At least three (3) years must be at lower management or supervisory level (Salary Level 7/8) within payroll, salary administration, or financial accounting.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise the end-to-end salary administration process, including capturing bonuses, adjustments, and deductions
- Authorize all salary-related payments and ensure accurate allocation of salary advice
- Manage the reconciliation of salary suspense accounts and clear all PERSAL exceptions before the monthly BAS system closure
- Ensure the reconciliation of PERSAL and BAS expenditure and submit required documentation
- Identify and manage overpayments, ensuring timely reversal and recovery
- Develop and maintain salary administration control systems and risk management profiles
- Analyze PERSAL management reports to compile monthly, quarterly, and annual salary performance reports
- Manage the performance, training, and development of subordinates within the sub-directorate.
