Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Compile comprehensive data inputs for the Provincial Consolidated Financial Statements to ensure reporting accuracy
- Execute detailed assessments of mandatory financial accounting submissions across various provincial departments
- Facilitate specialized training sessions to enhance the quality and credibility of Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Track and evaluate departmental progress regarding resolutions issued by the Provincial Public Accounts Committee (PROPAC)
- Supervise divisional resources and personnel to maintain high operational standards and deadline compliance
- Analyze financial data using BAS, LOGIS, and PERSAL systems to ensure alignment with SCOA frameworks
- Maintain rigorous oversight of financial reporting compliance in line with GRAP and PFMA requirements
