Requirements

- At least three (3) years must be at lower management or supervisory level (Salary Level 7/8) within Records Management or Registry Services.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct the systematic creation and indexing of departmental HR records
- Oversee the secure maintenance and preservation of personnel files for both Educators and Public Service staff
- Coordinate the lifecycle of records including active usage, archiving, and lawful disposal/destruction
- Manage and modernize registry services to ensure efficient retrieval of information
- Ensure compliance with the National Archives and Records Service of South Africa Act and POPIA
- Supervise registry staff and manage the physical and digital security of sensitive employee data
- Provide reports on the status of the records management system and audit readiness.
