Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee and coordinate the identification of non-compliance areas regarding HR policies, practices, and regulations
  • Provide expert legislative advice to ensure departmental alignment with HR frameworks
  • Monitor and facilitate the implementation of Internal Audit recommendations for HRM matters
  • Coordinate Auditor General (AG) Requests for Information (RFI) for internal and external audits to ensure timeous submission
  • Supervise and provide high-level advisory services to departmental managers on HRM compliance
  • Manage and lead staff and departmental resources within the unit
  • Ensure adherence to the Public Service Regulatory Framework and PFMA
