Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitate and monitor the implementation of integrated internal control systems to ensure organizational stability
- Oversee and monitor the application of departmental delegations, payment procedures, and manual frameworks
- Manage the Departmental Loss Control System, including the investigation and recovery of state losses (e.g., vehicle accidents, theft, or fruitless expenditure)
- Ensure that governance frameworks are adhered to within the provincial schooling system
- Provide strategic support to ensure compliance with the PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- Lead and supervise a team of internal control practitioners.
