Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience
  • At least three (3) years must be at lower management or supervisory level (Salary Level 7/8) within Gender Empowerment, Social Development, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute policies and strategies that promote the empowerment of women, youth, and persons with disabilities
  • Coordinate Gender Equality and Women Empowerment programs throughout the provincial education sector
  • Lead mainstreaming initiatives to ensure disability and youth considerations are integrated into all departmental functions
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of GDY (Gender, Disability, and Youth) issues to ensure organizational compliance
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to improve the integration of socio-economic projects
  • Manage time-bound advocacy campaigns, including environmental awareness and women-in-sector initiatives.
