Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience
- At least three (3) years must be at lower management or supervisory level (Salary Level 7/8) within the financial reporting or management accounting field.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the coordination of departmental financial planning and budgeting cycles
- Develop medium-to-long-term financial plans aligned with the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF)
- Compile detailed budget estimates, forecasts, and project-specific financial plans
- Monitor expenditure trends and provide analytical reports on variances
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, ledger accounts, and revenue for certificate compilation
- Coordinate inputs for statutory financial reporting and assist in interpreting management reports
- Resolve audit queries and manage the timely submission of requested financial information to oversight bodies.
