Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitate and manage the relationship between the Department and oversight bodies (AGSA, Internal Audit, Provincial Treasury)
- Coordinate the logistics and information flow for external and internal audits to ensure timely responses
- Manage 'Control Self-Assessments' (CSA) to proactively identify internal control weaknesses
- Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of Audit Action Plans to address prior audit findings
- Oversee compliance with legislative frameworks during the audit process
- Coordinate management requests for specialized audits or reviews
- Monitor the 'schooling system' administrative compliance to ensure audit readiness.
