Minimum Qualification

NQF Level 6 or equivalent in Labour Relations, Labour Law, LLB, or Human Resource Management.

Experience Required

3 years in Labour Relations and Dispute Management

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience at Supervisory or Junior Management level (Salary Level 7-10).

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and provide effective labor dispute resolution services within the department
  • Implement remedial and preventative strategies to mitigate labor unrest and industrial action
  • Oversee and facilitate the formal investigation process into alleged misconduct cases
  • Represent the department and facilitate collective bargaining processes
  • Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive records and information systems for all labor relations activities
  • Formulate policies and guidelines in alignment with the Public Service framework
  • Ensure compliance with the Labor Relations Act (LRA), BCEA, and PSCBC/PHSDSBC resolutions.
