Minimum Qualification

National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6) in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Purchasing Management

Experience Required

3 years at Level 7/8/10 in Supply Chain Management / Public Service

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience at supervisory or Junior Management level (Salary Level 7-10)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and ensure effective procurement planning aligned with Departmental strategic objectives
  • Manage the end-to-end acquisition process including bidding and quotations
  • Promote and maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationship management
  • Monitor compliance with SCM legislative frameworks and instruction notes
  • Supervise staff within the Demand and Acquisition units and manage performance
  • Facilitate high-level presentations and compile detailed technical SCM reports
