Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive departmental case management system
- Oversee the formal registration and acknowledgment of all reported cases
- Analyze investigative reports and formulate formal charges for employee misconduct
- Facilitate end-to-end dispute resolution processes and represent the department at conciliation and arbitration proceedings
- Coordinate and facilitate formal disciplinary hearings and progressive disciplinary actions
- Provide strategic advisory services on complex labour relations matters and legislative challenges
- Develop and implement internal labour relations policies, manuals, and procedural guidelines
- Promote fair, consistent, and sound labour relations practices throughout the department
