Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience
  • At least three (3) years must be at lower management or supervisory level (Salary Level 7/8) within Moveable Asset Management or Supply Chain Management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Facilitate and monitor the implementation of the Moveable Asset Management Strategy and Maintenance Plan
  • Coordinate and oversee the physical verification of assets across the Department and schools
  • Maintain and monitor the accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
  • Facilitate the lawful disposal of redundant, obsolete, or damaged assets
  • Ensure compliance with the Government Immovable Asset Management Act (GIAMA) where applicable and Treasury Regulations
  • Manage the lifecycle of assets from acquisition to de-recognition
  • Oversee asset labeling, tracking, and movement control
  • Supervise the performance and development of the asset management team.
