Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor and review the capturing of all moveable and immovable physical assets in departmental registers
- Oversee the receipt, quality control, barcoding, and allocation of new assets
- Conduct periodic physical asset verifications and reconcile findings with asset count data
- Facilitate the formal asset disposal process in compliance with departmental policy
- Manage the allocation of furniture and equipment to asset holders and maintain updated room inventory lists
- Compile monthly asset addition reconciliations and quarterly/annual financial statement notes
- Advise and guide departmental employees on sound asset management practices and policy implementation
- Supervise, train, and manage the performance and discipline of the asset management team
- Design and develop strategic asset management systems and annual physical asset planning
- Ensure compliance with the Modified Cash Standard and Treasury Instruction Notes
