Requirements

Experience as determined by OSD for Artisan Grade A (typically 0-2 years post-qualification for entry grade)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Produce painting designs and color schemes according to client specifications
  • Execute painting projects using appropriate materials and equipment following recognized standards
  • Conduct quality assurance on completed painting work
  • Inspect departmental facilities for technical faults or surface deterioration
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various surfaces and structures
  • Maintain an updated register of repaired faults and job records
  • Provide technical input into operational maintenance plans
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or apprentices
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during production
  • Perform administrative tasks including compiling and submitting technical reports
