- Strong supervisory and team leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of the Public Financial Management Act (PFMA) and Public Service Regulations
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and LOGIS systems
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and numeracy skills
- Computer literacy and technical report writing skills
- Understanding of building safety programs and protocols.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan and coordinate technical work to be performed within the facility
- Implement and monitor the equipment maintenance program to ensure operational efficiency
- Execute scheduled inspections of buildings and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Oversee the repair of broken equipment and respond to urgent 'H24' job requests
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules for both building infrastructure and technical equipment
- Obtain quotations for stock and materials and complete PA1 LOGIS forms for procurement
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to the artisan staff and support personnel
- Ensure all work is executed according to set engineering standards, policies, and SCM procedures
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and resource utilization.
Salary Detail
Remunaration
- Grade A: R382047 PER ANNUM.
- Grade B: R453609 PER ANNUM PLUS 13TH CHEQUE, HOUSING ALLOWANCE, MEDICAL AID (OPTIONAL, EMPLOYEE MUST MEET THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS..
