Minimum Qualification

Trade Test Certificate in any Built Environment discipline

Experience Required

5 years (Post-Trade Test) in Built Environment / Maintenance / Technical Production

  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Technical Applications (CAD/CADD)
  • Technical report writing and consulting
  • Sound understanding of the Public Service Act and Regulations

Requirements

Five (5) years' post-qualification experience as an Artisan

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise and produce technical designs according to client specifications
  • Conduct quality assurance on produced objects and projects
  • Inspect equipment and facilities to identify technical faults
  • Oversee and perform repairs and testing against recognized standards
  • Manage the register of maintained and repaired faults
  • Supervise and mentor artisan staff and trainees
  • Plan resource requirements and schedule works
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and health regulations
  • Conduct research to advance technical expertise and improve production processes
  • Compile and submit technical reports to management
