Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Produce carpentry designs according to client specifications and production capacity
- Manufacture wooden objects and structures using specialized material and equipment
- Conduct quality assurance on all produced and repaired objects
- Inspect departmental facilities for technical faults in woodwork and structural components
- Repair and maintain wooden equipment and facilities to recognized standards
- Test repaired items against technical specifications
- Maintain an updated register of maintained and repaired faults
- Compile and submit technical reports and maintain detailed job records
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or apprentices
- Provide technical input into operational maintenance plans
