National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification

Experience Required

1-2 years in Organisational Development / HR

  • Expertise in Job Evaluation (JE) processes and the Compensate-evaluate system
  • Deep understanding of Public Service Regulations and DPSA OD Directives
  • Business process mapping and benchmarking skills

  • Advanced MS Office and PERSAL literacy
  • Facilitation and presentation skills

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years clerical experience in Organisational Development or Human Resource Management
  • Knowledge of PERSAL sub-system and Establishment Certificates

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute departmental efficiency studies to eliminate service delivery waste and optimize work procedures
  • Analyze Human Resource reports to refine work processes, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Design departmental forms and reporting templates
  • Conduct Job Evaluations (JE) and facilitate the compilation and review of job descriptions
  • Maintain a comprehensive job description database and identify gaps in documentation
  • Provide technical support for the review, development, and monitoring of the organizational structure
  • Synchronize the organizational structure with PERSAL regarding the creation and abolishing of posts
  • Facilitate the Organizational Functionality Assessment (OFA) and manage annual reporting requirements
  • Assist in developing the Service Delivery Model (SDM)
  • Supervise and develop subordinate staff within the unit
