Minimum Qualification

National Senior Certificate plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing Management, or an equivalent field as recognized by SAQA.

Experience Required

2 years in Supply Chain Management / Financial Management

Required Competencies & Skills

  • Proficiency in the Logistical Information System (LOGIS)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations
  • Understanding of SCM sourcing strategies and demand management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of accuracy in financial data processing
  • Ability to maintain stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a Supply Chain Management or Financial Management environment
  • Proven experience in procurement processes and quotation sourcing.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Source competitive quotations from prospective service providers in line with SCM policies
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate procurement requirements
  • Process and evaluate received quotations to ensure compliance with specifications and Treasury regulations
  • Perform electronic document linking and data maintenance on the LOGIS system
  • Ensure all procurement documentation is accurately recorded and filed for audit purposes.
