- Strong organizational and data management skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder liaison abilities
- Computer literacy (MS Office suite)
- Ability to interpret lease requirements and technical survey forms.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in property administration or public management is an added advantage
- Proven ability to perform deeds searches and land ownership validation
- Experience in municipal account administration and utility usage monitoring.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Support the collection and updating of immovable asset data in accordance with NEIMS and Provincial Asset Register requirements
- Facilitate the acquisition and disposal of land and buildings for educational facilities in collaboration with Public Works
- Perform comprehensive deeds searches to verify land ownership prior to infrastructure project finalization
- Maintain and update the official register of sites earmarked for future educational infrastructure development
- Assist in identifying suitable lease properties and coordinating lease needs with Districts and Schools
- Administer Section 14 lease contracts and process municipal account payments through the finance department
- Monitor utility consumption to identify excessive water and electricity usage and recommend corrective interventions
- Contribute to the development of utility usage guidelines and assist in training district personnel on implementation.
