Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years' appropriate experience in Financial Services
- Valid Code EB Driver's License (or higher)
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform complex reconciliations between the Persal Interface and BAS accounting reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Maintain and rigorously control all salary suspense accounts in strict accordance with the PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- Monitor the status of Suspense Accounts and provide regular, detailed updates to senior management
- Facilitate and oversee the timely recovery and disbursement of employee salary deductions to third-party institutions
- Manage and supervise subordinate staff within the Revenue Control unit, including performance and development
- Ensure all financial processes adhere to the Income Tax Act, Treasury Practice Notes, and internal departmental policies
- Interpret and apply relevant financial legislation to daily accounting operations
- Utilize BAS and Persal systems for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
