Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and manage the daily allocation of departmental vehicles to staff members
- Perform comprehensive pre- and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle conditions
- Maintain and update accurate fleet registers, logbooks, and fuel consumption records
- Facilitate and oversee the routine cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle fleet
- Conduct detailed vehicle inspections to identify, document, and report any damages or mechanical issues
- Ensure all transport activities comply with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and departmental policies
- Draft incident reports and maintain an organized filing system for all transport-related documentation
