Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and manage the daily allocation of departmental vehicles to staff members
  • Perform comprehensive pre- and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle conditions
  • Maintain and update accurate fleet registers, logbooks, and fuel consumption records
  • Facilitate and oversee the routine cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle fleet
  • Conduct detailed vehicle inspections to identify, document, and report any damages or mechanical issues
  • Ensure all transport activities comply with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and departmental policies
  • Draft incident reports and maintain an organized filing system for all transport-related documentation
