Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process all administrative financial transactions for the unit, including overtime, sub-car allowances, and Subsistence & Travel (S&T) claims
  • Capture and process critical law enforcement data such as written notices, suspension notices, and impoundment records into the computerized system
  • Coordinate all logistical travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and vehicle rentals for the specialized investigation team
  • Manage the unit's filing system, ensuring the control, security, and safekeeping of sensitive investigative documents
  • Draft and type general correspondence and formal minutes for departmental meetings
  • Act as the first point of contact for general public inquiries regarding specialized traffic investigations
  • Ensure all administrative and payment transactions comply with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
