Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process all administrative financial transactions for the unit, including overtime, sub-car allowances, and Subsistence & Travel (S&T) claims
- Capture and process critical law enforcement data such as written notices, suspension notices, and impoundment records into the computerized system
- Coordinate all logistical travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and vehicle rentals for the specialized investigation team
- Manage the unit's filing system, ensuring the control, security, and safekeeping of sensitive investigative documents
- Draft and type general correspondence and formal minutes for departmental meetings
- Act as the first point of contact for general public inquiries regarding specialized traffic investigations
- Ensure all administrative and payment transactions comply with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
