Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide specialized administrative and clerical support to the IT Office
- Manage the IT Service Desk by logging service requests, assigning calls to technicians, and providing daily updates
- Generate analytical reports from the IT Helpdesk system to monitor service delivery
- Administer IT asset management, including the coordination of asset transfers
- Facilitate procurement requests for basic stationery and IT-related office items
- Coordinate logistical arrangements, including scheduling appointments between service providers and district IT technicians
- Manage office administration tasks such as drafting routine correspondence, preparing memos, and processing travel and subsistence (T&S) claims
- Administer staff leave registers and maintain a robust filing system for the section
- Operate and manage office equipment like photocopiers and fax machines
- Ensure compliance with Public Service prescripts, including the PFMA and National Land Transport Act
