Minimum Qualification

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification as recognized by SAQA (NQF Level 4).

Experience Required

Entry Level / Exposure preferred in Vehicle Licensing and Transport Administration

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Facilitate the professional registration and licensing of motor vehicles for the public
  • Administer the issuance of driver's and learner's licenses in accordance with provincial standards
  • Process and issue official roadworthy certificates following technical verification
  • Administer the allocation of special vehicle permits, motor trade numbers, and specific license plate numbers
  • Provide high-level help desk support by addressing public inquiries regarding transport regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of all licensing transactions and permit issuances.
