Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitate the professional registration and licensing of motor vehicles for the public
- Administer the issuance of driver's and learner's licenses in accordance with provincial standards
- Process and issue official roadworthy certificates following technical verification
- Administer the allocation of special vehicle permits, motor trade numbers, and specific license plate numbers
- Provide high-level help desk support by addressing public inquiries regarding transport regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all licensing transactions and permit issuances.
