zungula defends atm leadership shuffle calls it strategic move

Former African Transformation Movement leader Vuyo Zungula says the partys move to redeploy him as Parliamentary leader was a well-thought-out move.

He was replaced three weeks ago by the chief apostle and spiritual leader of the Twelve Apostles Church in Christ, Professor Caesar Nongqunga.

Zungula says being the ATM Parliamentary leader will allow him ample time to focus on matters at hand, and not having to worry about matters of growing the party outside of Parliament.

Zungula has also joined the chorus of those opposing the planned National Dialogue as another talk shop and a waste of money.

This follows hot on the heels of the Democratic Alliances DA decision to withdraw from the meeting of political parties, civil society organisations, and ordinary people backed by former President Thabo Mbeki to discuss the kind of South Africa they want.
