South African Police Service SAPS KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi says the situation in SAPS deteriorated in the run up to and after the African National Congress ANC 2007 conference held in Polokwane, Limpopo.
Mkhwanazi fielded questions from members of Parliaments ad hoc committee investigating allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system on Wednesday 8 October.
