The celebration took place in Kampala, bringing together senior leaders and executives from both organizations. Among the attendees were MTN Uganda's Thomas Motlepa CTIO, Sylvia ElSheikh CMO, Franklin Kano Ocharo GM of New Business, and Philip Wamimbi Senior Manager - Network Operations, alongside ZTE Uganda's CEO Wang Lou and DCEO Yuan Yuzhan, whose leadership has been instrumental in sustaining the partnership's success.

MTN Uganda has consistently ranked No. 1 in Net Promoter Scores NPS within the MTN Group, setting new benchmarks for service quality and customer satisfaction across Africa.
One of the major highlights of this collaboration was the establishment of Uganda's first Service Operations Center SOC, launched by ZTE for MTN Uganda. The SOC represents a major leap in intelligent network management, enabling smarter, faster, and more proactive operations through advanced analytics and automation. This system has allowed MTN Uganda to identify and address network issues in real time, ensuring uninterrupted service and improving overall efficiency. The achievement underscores both companies' shared commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
