Zambia is taking a leading role in digital health innovation, as evidenced by its participation in the 2025 Health Informatics in Africa HELINA Conference held in Gaborone, Botswana. Mr. Kalamatila Ngoi, the Director of Standards and Compliance at the e-Government Division SMART Zambia Institute , represented the country at the high-level event.
Mr. Ngoi participated in a panel discussion focused on localizing the World Health Organizations WHO SMART Guidelines Digital Adaptation Kits DAKs.
