Mamelodi Sundowns will be without Grant Kekana in the CAF Champions League semifinal return leg against Esperance at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, so defender Keanu Cupido has embraced the role of guiding Khulumani Ndamane and Kegan Johannes at the heart of defence.
Kekana was sent off in the second half in the first leg, and this leaves Cupido as the most experienced player ahead of Ndamane and Johannes.
Cupido feels they are not experienced enough at this stage of the tournament and wants to take responsibility and guide them.
