As Agentic Artificial Intelligence AI gains traction across workplaces, cybersecurity and governance are critical areas in adoption efforts. Both business leaders and employees cite data breaches 50 of leaders, 55 of employees and overreliance on AI leading to reduced human oversight 41 of leaders, 52 of employees as the top risks in adopting Agentic AI systems.
In fact, more than half of business leaders 59 say their organisations governance policies for Agentic AI are not well defined or not defined at all, and nearly nine in ten employees 87 are not familiar with such policies, leaving both groups unprepared to manage the associated risks effectively.
About half of employ ees 5 strongly agree, 46 somewhat agree agree they have a part to play in ensuring ethical AI practices, yet only a quarter 2 to a large extent, 23 to a moderate extent feel adequately equipped to do so.
