The most capped Springbok womens player, Nolusindiso Booi, will lead a strong South African squad to the 2025 Womens Rugby World Cup, which kicks off in England in a few weeks.
She is also the most experienced captain, having led the national team in 23 test matches.
19 of the 32 players selected by coach Swys de Bruin have World Cup experience.
All 32 featured this season either against Spain, at the Africa Womens Cup, against Canada, or the most recent tests against the New Zealand Black Ferns Fifteen.
The squad was named and capped at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg this afternoon.
