Parliamentarians from across the Southern African Development Community SADC say climate change is worsening poverty and inequality in the region, with women and young people the most affected.
They attended the 58th plenary meeting of the SADC Parliamentary Forum in Durban on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering virtually, Deputy President Paul Mashatile calls on the delegates to come up with policies and programmes to address challenges brought by climate change.
