Cape Winelands Airport has received an initial investment from Growthpoint Properties, giving it the right to co-invest and develop the new airport precinct.
Under the agreement, Growthpoint will assume long-term property and asset management responsibilities, including the logistics, commercial and hospitality components. This excludes the terminal buildings.
Growthpoint will also oversee the developments main contractor to ensure institutional standards, including transparent governance, financial discipline and integration of positive environmental and social impacts.
