South African captain Ronwen Williams says he believes the team will give a good account of themselves at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament AFCON, which kicks off in Morocco, this evening.
The captain has appealed to the football Gods to bless Bafana Bafana with a second AFCON title and a first since 1996.
Bafana Bafana are aiming to build on their impressive performance at the previous AFCON tournament, where they won the bronze medal. They open their campaign with a Group B match against Angola in Marrakesh on Monday evening.
