Atalanta Bergamo CEO, Luca Percassi, has confirmed that Inter Milan has submitted a proposal for star winger Ademola Lookman, with the Nigerian reportedly keen on an exit from Bergamo.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Gewiss Stadium for several months, especially following his standout performances last season, which culminated in a hat trick during the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.
As revealed by Fabrizio Romano, the club has maintained its stance on the situation, underlining that while a bid has arrived from Inter, Atalanta will be in full control of the timing and valuation of any potential transfer.

The statement is the clearest indication yet that Lookman could be on his way out this summer, with Inter eager to add depth to their wide attacking options. However, Atalanta are known for their firm negotiating position and have already demonstrated a willingness to hold out for the right fee in past transfer dealings.
Lookman joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022 after a successful loan spell at Leicester City, and has since grown into a key figure under Gian Piero Gasperini. He scored 17 goals across all competitions last season, including decisive contributions in Europe that led to Atalanta's first-ever continental trophy.
Inter's interest in Lookman dates back to early June, with reports suggesting that personal terms would not be an issue for the player. But Softfootball understands that Atalanta will only entertain a deal in excess of 40 million, while also factoring in bonuses and potential resale clauses.
With just under a month left in the transfer window, all eyes are now on Inter to return with an improved offer or risk losing out to other European clubs also monitoring Lookmans situation.
