Swiss tennis player Stan Wawrinka has announced that the 2026 season will be the final chapter of his career, with the three-time Grand Slam singles champion saying he hopes to bow out on the best possible note.
The Swiss star shared the news in a message posted on social media on Friday, writing that every book needs an ending and that it was time for him to close his career as a professional player.
Wawrinka, who will turn 41 in March, made clear that 2026 would be his last year on the ATP Tour.
