Scenes of chaos unfolded in parts of Cape Town as Guy Fawkes celebrations took a dangerous turn. In videos, groups of young children can be seen fighting, and unleashing mayhem in several communities.
The City of Cape Town confirmed earlier today that law enforcement officials responded to multiple incidents in areas including Lavender Hill, Eersteriver, Elsies River and Parkwood, as per SmileFM .
According to the City's Law Enforcement spokesperson Wayne Dyason, Groups of predominantly young children are going around attacking each other and innocent bystanders with paints and other substances.
