President Cyril Ramaphosa added an unexpected task to his to-do list during an appearance in Cape Town - tying a young girl's shoelaces, Cape town Etc reports.
The unscripted moment, now doing the rounds on social media, happened at Canal Walk Shopping Centre, where the president was making a public appearance.
Crowds had gathered to see him, snap selfies, and maybe sneak in a handshake or two.
Outside the Swarovski store, Ramaphosa paused to greet families, paying extra attention to the elderly and children.
Then, in the middle of the meet-and-greet, he spotted a little girl with untied shoelaces.
