Vodacom Congo Program Trains 1,147 Young People With Digital Skills Through Excel Certification

Vodacom Congo RDC S.A., in partnership with Kinshasa Digital Academy and supported by GIZ and the Ministry of Vocational Training, has successfully certified 1,147 young people in Microsoft Excel in Lubumbashi through the Empowering Digital Talent program.

The program provides intensive training and internationally recognized TOSA certification, equipping participants with skills that enhance employability and prepare them for a rapidly evolving digital workforce.

The latest cohort received their certificates on October 31, 2025, exceeding the program's initial target of 1,000 certifications in Lubumbashi. Looking ahead to 2027, the program aims to train 20,000 young people nationwide, strengthening human capital and fostering digital competence across the Democratic Republic of Congo.
