Vodafone executives have released their annual technology and connectivity predictions for 2026, highlighting the trends expected to define the year ahead. Among them, Vodacom Group CEO Shameel Joosub has identified artificial intelligence AI and satellite connectivity as the technologies most likely to transform Africa's digital landscape.
In a statement, Joosub outlined the potential of these innovations to reshape how people, businesses, and communities engage with technology.
