Team India batter Virat Kohli scored his second century of the series during the second ODI against South Africa at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday, December 3. Kohli was dismissed soon after reaching the milestone, and he ended up hurting himself in frustration.
Kohli came to the crease in the fifth over following Rohit Sharma's dismissal. The right-handed batter opened his account with a six off Lungi Ngidi and continued with an aggressive approach against the South Africa attack. The No. 3 batter completed his century off 90 balls with a single on the last ball of the 38th over.
Virat Kohli's outstanding innings in the Raipur ODI came to an end when he attempted an aggressive shot against Lungi Ngidi and mistimed it straight to Aiden Markram at long-on. The ball came off the bottom half of Kohli's bat and went straight towards the fielder.
