Zamalek have qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup final following their 3-0 victory over Ghanaian outfit Dreams FC on Sunday. The White Knights played out a goalless draw against Dreams on home soil last week in the first leg of the competitions semi-finals. Despite the pressure in Kumasi, Zamalek needed only 12 minutes to find the breakthrough with Hamza Mathlouthi tapping home Ahmed Sayed Zizos corner delivery. Samson Akinyoola later got his name on the scoresheet after a delightful solo effort to double his sides advantage 15 minutes later. Having gone through spells of sustained pressure, Zamalek found their third of the night near the hour mark with Mostafa Shalaby finishing off a quick counter-attack orchestrated by Seifeddine Jaziri to seal the tie. They will now face the winner between USM Alger and RS Berkane in the final, which takes place over legs starting on May 12th.
