Jeremy Doku opened the scoring with a stunning finish in the ninth minute before Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners quickly leveled for Juventus, capitalizing on a poor clearance from Ederson.
However Manchester City regained their lead through an own goal by Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu, who misjudged a low cross from Matheus Nunes in the 26th minute.
Pep Guardiola made a change at the break, bringing on Erling Haaland for Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush. The Norwegian wasted no time, slotting home City's third just seven minutes into the second half after another delivery from Nunes.
Haaland then turned provider, slipping in Savinho, whose cutback allowed Phil Foden to tap in the Sky Blues' fourth. The Brazilian winger added a fifth moments later with a powerful strike into the bottom corner to make it 5-1.
Dusan Vlahovic pulled one back for Juventus with a late breakaway goal, but it did little to affect the outcome as City became the only team in the tournament to win all three of their group games.
It was Guardiola's 11th straight win in the Club World Cup, maintaining his flawless record across spells with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and now City.
