A Bellville magistrate has amended the bail conditions of Sameemah Jacobs, requiring her to remove her pardah and present her identity document when signing in at the Delft Police Station, reports Cape town Etc .
Jacobs was granted R4 000 bail on 28 July 2025 after police found newborn Mogamat Imaad Sharmar safe at her home two days after the alleged abduction on 28 June.
According to Cape Argus , Jacobs' legal aid attorney told the court she wished to change her signing station from Kleinvlei to Delft. Jacobs also reportedly sought permission to enter Mitchells Plain to reclaim her belongings and to pursue eviction proceedings against alleged illegal occupants of her Searidge Park home.
